CJSC Neftech has developed and patented unique high technology solutions and techniques of deep dehydration and desalting of oil using electrical fields at all stages of the process. Our know-how allows:

Analysis and research of physical, chemical and electrical properties of oil in a given range of temperatures:

  •    density, viscosity;
  •    specific electric conductivity;
  •    electric durability;
  •    mass fraction of asphaltenes, gum, paraffin, hydrogen sulphide, mercaptans, mechanical impurities

Analysis and study of physical, chemical and electrical properties of oil-water emulsions in a given range of temperatures:

  • density, rheological properties
  • dispersed aqueous phase composition
  • the interfacial tension at the oil-water;
  • stability of the emulsion to stratification;
  • definition of the type of stabilizer

Determination of the optimal operating parameters and processes for oil desalting and dehydration:

  • selection of the optimum demulsifier, its specific flow rate and temperature of the dehydration
  • electric field intensity
  • electrical treating duration
  • specific energy consumption
  • temperature and time of sludge

Determination of the optimal operating parameters of desalination:

  • input method and optimal hydrodynamic conditions for mixing and flushing
  • the consumption and temperature of wash water;
  • optimum voltage  for the electric pulverizing apparatus EPA-3000;
  • temperature and time of sludge.

Preparation of recommendations for the development of technological schemes for oil treatment and selection of the equipment.
